Samsung plans for the Android 10-based One UI 2.0 beta are going smooth, at least for their current flagships. The company started to seed out the update for Galaxy S10 in some regions during the past weeks. Yesterday, the company announced its plans of Android 10 for the Galaxy Note 10 series with the first beta build coming for users in the US and Germany. Now, the company is expanding the Galaxy S10 update program to India, Poland, and France.

Gizchina News of the week

Those who’ve successfully registered for the beta testing program via Samsung Members app will receive the update over the air. The Indian version, in particular,  carries G975FXXU3ZSJF build number and weighs in at nearly 2GB. It’s interesting to point out that the update goes ahead competition with a November security patch. That’s an interesting addition since companies only start to roll out these updates after the respective month starts. If you’re feeling courageous enough to try this beta, make sure to have a complete backup of your data. Besides, reports indicate that Samsung is about to roll out its second beta for the S10 in the coming weeks.

Android 10 brings Samsung’s most successful Android-skin, One UI, to the 2.0 version. Several new features are coming including a wider gesture control mode. We are curious to see when Samsung will give the same treatment to devices out of its flagship spectrum. But we believe that it will only start to reach the M and A-series in 2020.
