Recently, Chinese manufacturing giant, Xiaomi, released a plethora of products alongside the Redmi K30 series. One of those products is the Redmi Xiaoai Speaker Play which will commence sales today. According to the company, this smart speaker comes with an intelligent control and a host of features. It is selling for only 79 yuan ($11).
The Redmi Xiaoai speaker Play is a uni-colour device – White. As of now, only the white version is available but the company hopes to add more colours next year. In terms of sound, it uses a 1.75-inch high-quality speaker unit with a U-shaped duct design. Redmi claims that it can improve the low-frequency effect by 30%. It also has a large 350cc sound chamber which has an outstanding sound quality.
It can remotely control Xiaomi smart devices by voice, and cooperate with the latest generation of Bluetooth Mesh gateway to help Bluetooth devices network. This smart speaker is a good partner for smart door locks, light bulbs, and other devices. It comes with the third-generation “Xiao AI”. It is the first to support the third generation Xiao Ai’s features and it also supports Xiao AI male voice. Furthermore, this device comes with the new self-developed voiceprint recognition.
