Back in February 2019, Samsung launched its first foldable smartphone dubbed Galaxy Fold. Initially, the device arrived with the then-latest Android 9.0 Pie operating system. Well, the chaebol recently rolled out the Android 10 update for the device bumping up the software to One UI 2.1. As expected, the latest One UI 2.1 brought numerous features from Galaxy S20 lineup to the Fold.

Well, the smartphone maker has now started seeding yet another firmware update bringing more Galaxy S20 features. This time the update largely focus on the camera-related aspect.

The new software update brings the firmware version F900FXXU3BTDD  to the Galaxy Fold smartphone. As mentioned earlier, the update adds numerous camera-related features which we saw earlier with the S20 lineup. We’re looking at Single Take, Night Hyperlapse and Pro video mode. To recall, Single Take allows you to take a series of photos and video by just holding the camera shutter. This works perfectly when you do something fun, jump or scream. You can then choose the best shots (be it photos or videos). You can even get short movies, animated GIFs and much more.

Night Hyperlapse, on the other hand, records timelapse video with long exposure to create a light trail. Lastly, users can now record videos in Pro mode giving you much more control than earlier. Apart from these camera features, the new update brings the latest May 2020 Android security patch. The update is currently rolling out in France for the LTE variant. With that said, the update should expand to more regions and then eventually the 5G variant.

If you’re in France and you haven’t received the update notification, then you can do so manually. To do that, head over to Settings>>Software Update and then tap on Download and Install.
