Huawei P Smart 2020 is official with Google services

Huawei P Smart 2020 smartphone is available for purchase in Germany. This is a device with an LCD display with a 6.21-inch diagonal and FHD+ resolution. Since the old Kirin 710F still serves as SoC, Google services remain on board. This smartphone can now be pre-ordered via Huawei itself.

An official press release is still missing. Apparently, the Huawei P smart 2020 officially appears on May 17, 2020, because up to and including May 16, 2020, the presale of the color variants blue and black runs according to the Huawei online shop. The pre-sale of the green model will continue until May 21, which will apparently be available later. The price in all three cases is 199 euros (about $215).

Huawei is currently running a promotional campaign called “Sounds Great”. If you purchase the phone, you will also get a mini speaker from Huawei as a bonus. Other technical data of the Huawei P smart 2020 include 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage space (expandable via microSD). The cameras are identical to the previous model from last year and come with 13 + 2 megapixels as well as a depth sensor for the main camera and an 8-megapixel camera in a notch on the front. The battery should be at 3,400 mAh and be charged via USB Type-C. Also on board: Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac and a fingerprint scanner on the back.

Unfortunately, Android 9.0 Pie with EMUI 9.1 should be preinstalled and not the recent EMUI 10. As Huawei relies on an old chip, the company can also integrate Google services into the P smart 2020, as mentioned at the beginning.
