ZTE Axon 11 4G is a new member of the Axon 11 Series. The Axon 11 4G is actually a lowered down version of Axon 11 5G released in March. Axon 11 5G came with Snapdragon 765G and a mid-range price tag. Whereas another ZTE Axon 11 smartphone was released at first of June named Axon 11 SE 5G which was ZTE’s attempt on their cheapest 5G device, it came with MediaTek Dimensity 800 chipset. So now, its time for a smartphone targeted at those who don’t want to spend extra money on 5G and are satisfied with 4G. Ladies, and gentlemen, I present you the Axon 11 4G!

With a 6.47-inch display, Axon 11 4G also keeps the AMOLED display from the 5G version. The AMOLED display is curved on the edges, making the budget-friendly device look like a top tier phone. The display has a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a 19.5:9 aspect. With AMOLED panel also come some sacrifices like a teardrop notch. But don’t forget the AMOLED display also comes with an in-display fingerprint reader!

Talking about the camera segment, there is a quad camera setup. Led by a 64-megapixel primary with f/1.89 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 2-megapixel macro, and another 2-megapixel depth sensor. Whereas on the front side you will a 20-megapixel selfie camera.

On the performance side, the ZTE Axon 11 4G features a MediaTek Helio P70 chipset. A 4,000mAh battery is present that supports fast-charging.  On the software side, we are getting The MiFavor 10 based on Android 10 out of the box. For now, we do not have information regarding the pricing on Axon 11 LTE. Although, it will be coming in black and white color options.

ZTE Axon 11 5G VS ZTE Axon 11 4G: What is the difference?

To recall, the Axon 11 5G also came with 6.47 inches AMOLED display, a teardrop notch and same cameras. But the only difference is the chipset used on both smartphones. The Axon 11 5G came with Snapdragon 765G chipset, which is currently one of the best from Qualcomm in 700 series. But for LTE version, the scenario is completely different. The 4G version features Helio P70, which is actually a 2018 chipset!

They could have given us Snapdragon 700 series chipset like Snapdragon 720G, or even a G-series chipset from MediaTek. But using an old MediaTek processor means that they are saving costs on the performance side, making it a display-centric smartphone. And I can’t say it a “multi-media smartphone” due to the lack of a 3.5mm headphone jack. Anyways, let’s see at what price the 4G version Axon 11 will launch at!
