Yesterday, BlackShark officially announced that the screen repairs for the BlackShark 3 Pro will cost only $62. However, this deal will not be a permanent deal as it will expire on June 18th. Now, the company has announced that the BlackShark 3 series is now receiving the JOYUI 12.5 update. According to BlackShark, the full rollout will be complete by the end of the month. The main aspect of this update is the addition of eight features. These features include
- Brings the 5G SA function
- Supports Shark Sauce
- Adds Smart Cube
- Supports barrage notification 2.0
- Supports tablet mode
- Brand new control mode and auxiliary line function
- New visual upgrades for game space and game assistants
- Support MIUI12.5
The BlackShark 3 series was officially released in March last year. This series is also the world’s first 5G gaming flagship. The Black Shark 3/Pro comes with a 3499/4699 yuan ($547/$734) price tag respectively and both smartphones use Snapdragon 865 SoC. Furthermore, these devices use UFS3.0 flash memory and up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM.
In addition, Black Shark launched Tencent Black Shark 3S in July. This device also comes with the Snapdragon 865 processor. However, this device comes with a 120Hz Samsung AMOLED screen and JOYUI 12 game operating system.
