Samsung Galaxy Watch4 series and Galaxy Buds2 Indian prices revealed

Samsung has recently unveiled its Galaxy Watch4 series of smartwatches and also new True wireless earbuds in the form of Galaxy Buds2. These devices are soon to be released in the Indian market, and today we have official info regarding the price and availability. According to the info, the new Galaxy Watch4, Galaxy Watch4 Classic, and Galaxy Buds2 will go on pre-order on August 30, the actual sales will start on September 10.

The Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 will cost INR 11,999 ($165 /€140, whereas the Galaxy Watch4 series will start at INR 23,999 ($325/€275). Customers can pre-book one through Samsung’s official Indian website and leading online and offline retail stores. Interestingly, customers, who pre-order the Galaxy Watch4 series will get an e-voucher worth INR 6,000 ($80/€70). Those pre-ordering the Galaxy Buds 2 will be eligible for an e-voucher worth INR 3,000 ($40/€35). Samsung is also offering cashback worth INR 1,200 ($16 / €14) and INR 3,000 ($40/€35) on the Galaxy Buds 2 and Galaxy Watch 4 lineup, respectively.

GALAXY WATCH4 AND WATCH4 CLASSIC SPECS AND FEATURES

The new Samsung Galaxy Watch4 arrives as a sportier, modern, and sleek option. It features a rubber band and what Samsung calls Digital Bezel. The Galaxy Watch4, on the other hand, sports a classic look featuring a stainless steel body and a rotating bezel. Apart from these two main differences, both Watches are basically the same in terms of specifications.

The Galaxy Watch4 comes in 44mm and 40mm sizes. These options come with 1.36-inch and 1.19 AMOLED screens respectively. The pixel density is 330PPI and the resolution is 396 x 396 for both models, so you can expect content to be always crisp.

The company has introduced its WearOS-based One UI Watch platform and leaves TizenOS behind. Thanks to the new Operating System, the wearables can track more than 100 different fitness activities. Some of them can be extended to a Samsung TV to make the activities even more immersive.

The new OS also improves the sleep management feature. There is snoring detection, continuous blood, and oxygen tracking while sleeping. Users can also benefit from both Samsung Apps and Google Core Apps like Maps for example. Even some third-party platforms will support the Watch.

GALAXY BUDS2 FEATURES AND SPECS

The Samsung Galaxy Buds2 arrives with a dynamic two-way speaker. The new TWS headset is split into a woofer and a tweeter. As a result, it promises clear high notes and deep atmospheric lows. Samsung trimmed the weight to 5.0 grams per bud, with the case adding just 41.2 grams more to the total weight.

The trio of microphones, placed in each earbud, bring Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) to life. It enhances the experience and cancels the noise while you listening to music. The earbuds also come with a Voice pickup unit (VPU) that helps filter in only your voice to the other party and not external noises.

According to Samsung, the new Active Noise Cancellation feature is capable of blocking up to 98% of noise. The company also brings enhanced Ambient Modes for those cases when you actually want to hear what’s going on around you. The hearables also come with machine learning-based solutions and adapt to external sounds like cars, wind, emergency vehicles.

As for the charging case, the Galaxy Buds2 case is quite similar to that of the Galaxy Buds Pro. Interestingly, it also packs the very same battery capacity – 472 mAh. As for the individual batteries, each bud will come with a 61 mAh battery capacity. As per reports, the battery life will be 5 hours with ANC enabled and 8 hours without it. If you take the case in consideration, then battery life goes up to 12/18 hours.
