iQOO has just introduced the iQOO Z6 5G in India back in the last month. Now, the company is gearing up to introduce the iQOO Z6 Pro 5G model in India, on April 27. iQOO has previously said that the iQOO Z6 Pro 5G will arrive as “India’s fastest smartphone in the 25,000 INR segment”. The device will come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC and will also bag 66 W fast-charging support. Now, with the event just around the corner, iQOO has come up with more details on the iQOO Z6 5G. The company has uploaded new teasers on Amazon India in a bid to build the hype for the upcoming handset.
According to reports, the iQOO Z6 Pro 5G will flaunt a 6.44-inch AMOLED screen with a Full HD+ resolution of around 2,400 x 1,080 pixels. The phone will offer a 90 Hz refresh rate, 180 Hz touch sampling rate, and 1,300 nits peak brightness. The Refresh Rate and the touch sampling rate aren’t the most impressive in the current scene, but we assume that this is a cost-saving measure to make the device more affordable. Anyway, it offers HDR 10+ certification which makes this a decent panel for media.

iQOO Z6 Pro 5G specifications
The iQOO Z6 Pro 5G will carry the aforementioned Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G. It uses a 6 nm architecture with 4 x ARM Cortex-A78 cores clocked at up to 2.4 GHz plus 6 x ARM Cortex-A55 cores clocked at up to 1.8 GHz. The GPU is an Adreno 642L which can easily handle most of the Play Store games without issues. The phone will have a VC Liquid Cooling system on board. It is said to reduce the CPU temperature by 12-degrees. The liquid cooling area will be 32.923 mm2, and the vapor chamber area will span 2,100 mm². The phone will come in three RAM options – 6 GB, 8 GB, and 12 GB. All models will have an Extended RAM feature, and the amount is proportional. For example, the 6 GB can only add 2 GB, whereas the 8 GB and 12 GB variants can get a 4 GB boost.
In terms of optics, the Z6 Pro 5G will bring a triple-camera setup. It packs a 64 MP primary shooter, ultrawide, and macro units. The info is still under the wraps, but based on our experience, it will be an 8 MP ultrawide and 2 MP macro unit. The iQOO Z6 Pro 5G will come with a Z-axis linear motor for 4D Game Vibration. The phone will have a 4,700 mAh battery with 66 W fast-charging. It will run Android 12 OS with Funtouch OS 12 running on top.
Interestingly, iQOO is also preparing an iQOO Z6 4G for the Chinese market. Apparently, it will also hit India on May 4.
