No.1 have announced their GooPad
mini rival and
iPad mini clone with 7-inch
display, built-in 3G and handwriting recognition.
Despite the number of iPhone, iMac,
iPad and Macbook
clones we have seen over the years, it's still quite surprising that there aren't any
iPad mini clones on the market! The GooPad
mini promised to be the first
Android based
iPad mini clone but has still yet to
launch, this has given other brands a chance to catch up.
No.1 have made quite a few fans here in China thanks to their dual-core, S4 smartphone which sells for just $100 yet boasts a 4.7-inch
display and 8 mega-pixel rear camera. Now, they are preparing to
launch their first
tablet which they have called the
No.1 MiniPad.
The only images available are press
renderings such as the one here, but we can see the design is a lot like the Apple
iPad Mini, but features the headphone jack on the bottom of the device rather than the top. Full specification hasn't been revealed either, but we do know the MiniPad will get a 7-inch display, built-in 3G, GPS, handwriting software, dual-core Snapdragon processor and phone functions.
More details as we get them!
