iPhone 17 Pro Max New Design Leaks Once Again in Hands-On Video

The new iPhones are coming with an all-new design language for their rear cameras. It isn't an unseen change since we are basically seeing the visor-like design seen in old Pixel phones and even some smartphones from Xiaomi. However, it's a major change for the iPhones that have been sticking with a squareish camera island for years. The new devices will be unveiled by Apple on September 9, and ahead of that launch, the iPhone lineup continues to leak in the wild. Today, a new leak shows the iPhone 17 Pro Max and its new design.

The leak is basically a purported one. A hands-on video has surfaced in China, showing a real iPhone 17 Pro Max unit being handled by someone working on the production line.

Once again, the design change is confirmed in a new video. The iPhone 17 Pro Max is the one getting the major refresh. After all, the regular iPhone has a slim horizontal visor design only for the necessary. The same goes for the all-new iPhone 17 Air, which gets a simple design.

The 17 Pro Max has a huge island that extends all across from the left side to the right. The design of the rest of the back contains another area that's outlined in order to make the camera island less of an eyesore.

While we expect the real deal to appear now that there are just a few days ahead of the design, digest this with a pinch of salt. We've seen multiple leaks in the past months showing dummy units of the iPhone 17 family. Regardless of that, we already have a good picture of the new design.

The iPhone 17 Pro Max will retain its price of $1199, while some of the other iPhones 17 models getting a price hike.
