Honor Power 2: 10,800mAh Battery Monster Has More Of Its Specs Confirmed

Honor has many interesting devices under its Magic and numbered series. However, the Power series is where you should look if you're in the market for a battery monster. The Honor Power was unveiled in last April with a massive 8,000mAh battery. Now the brand wants to take a further step in delivering battery-monster smartphones with the Honor Power 2. The device will impress with a massive 10,800mAh, which is still an unexplored number among the brands betting in the Si-C battery technology. Today, the tipster Digital Chat Station brought some new details about this smartphone.

According to reports, the Honor Power 2 will launch in early 2026 with the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chip. The tipster confirmed the phone will also offer a 50MP primary rear camera and a 16MP selfie shooter. He further states that the phone will sell in Midnight Black, Sunrise Orange, and Snow White color options.

According to the rumors, the Honor Power 2 will come with a flat 6.79-inch LTPS OLED screen with a 1.5K resolution and a 10,080mAh battery with 80W fast-charging support. The tipster says the phone carries the "Saber" codename and will break several battery life records when launched.

The 10,000mAh battery territory isn't often explored by brands that build standard smartphones. The lines have been crossed by rugged phone makers years ago, but now, thanks to the Si-C battery tech, we're starting to see this becoming common in regular phones. The new technology can store more energy without increasing the phone's footprint. With this capacity, we don't expect the Honor Power 2 to be the thinnest smartphone in the market. However, its numbers will certainly be around what we consider a standard smartphone nowadays.

Interestingly, crossing the 10,000mAh line is just a matter of time, considering that we're already seeing 8000mAh smartphones. The Honor Power 2 could be the first smartphone, but this will certainly be explored by other brands next year. It is worth noting that Honor is also said to be planning another smartphone series called the Honor Win series. At least one device in this lineup will also carry the insane 10,000mAh capacity.
