Honor just wrapped up
a huge year, and the results are honestly pretty wild. The company's top bosses
recently
revealed that they moved more than 71 million
smartphones throughout
2025.
That’s about 9% more than they did last year, which shows just how much
momentum they’re picking up. At a time when a lot of other phone makers are
having a hard time finding new customers,
Honor seems to have found a groove
that’s really working for them.
Success Hits Hard Outside of China
The most exciting part of the story is how well Honor is doing
internationally. For the first time, more than half of the phones they sold
went to people outside of China. Overseas sales jumped by 47%, which is a huge
leap in just one year. The brand is now a big deal in places like Latin America
and the Middle East, where they’ve already sold over 10 million units. In 17
different countries, they now hold a solid 10% of the market share, making them
a real threat to the bigger names.
Winning Over Local Fans
Honor isn’t just
shipping boxes, they are becoming the go-to brand in specific spots. For
example, in Malaysia, they are now the number-one brand for both phones and
tablets. To keep this momentum going, they are building things locally. They
just opened a modern factory in Bangladesh to help assemble phones right where
their customers live. This helps them get products to stores faster and helps
the local economy by creating new jobs.
A Smarter Way Forward
As they look
toward 2026, the company is putting all its chips on artificial intelligence. They’re aiming to be more than just a phone brand by building a
whole ecosystem of "smart" gear. Their new "Alpha" strategy
focuses on making gadgets that actually simplify daily life. To make it happen,
they’re teaming up with heavy hitters like Google and Qualcomm. They even teamed up with the car company BYD to find new
ways to connect your tech.
More Than Just Smartphones
To stay on top, Honor
is branching out into other gadgets. They’ve recently launched new items like
the Watch 5 Ultra and the Pad V9 tablet for their global fans. By selling
everything from high-end earbuds to smartwatches, the brand is trying to make
sure its customers can stay within the Honor family for all their tech needs.
Their goal for the future is simple: stay focused on what young, tech-savvy
users want and keep pushing into new markets.
