Huawei nova 15 Ultra front camera shots revealed and it is not what fans expected

Huawei has shared new photos taken with the front camera of its Nova 15 Ultra. The images show He Gang, CEO of Huawei Terminal BG, at the launch event. He was with brand ambassador Jackson Yee.

Fans had high hopes for the camera, but the images have caused mixed views online. Some praised the color and light, saying the leaves and sky in the background look rich and bright.

On the flip side, some said the image is too soft. They also complained that it lacks sharp details. These complaints are more noticeable in close-up images of faces. 

Except there is some sort of software upgrade, Huawei may struggle to match the hype it built. However, some find it suitable for daily use, but it may not meet the needs of serious photography enthusiasts.

The Nova 15 Ultra introduces Huawei’s dual red maple imaging system. This system includes a 50MP front camera and a 50MP rear camera with RYYB red maple tech.

Huawei claims that this setup enables selfies and videos to appear more vivid and lifelike. In the sample photos, the red maple leaves appear bright and clear, giving the pictures a natural touch.

Yet, some fans noted that the sharpness of faces could be better. The phone also has features meant to improve low-light photos and color balance, but the sample images do not fully show these abilities. Still, the dual camera setup signals Huawei’s focus on imaging, especially for selfies and videos.

Many fans shared their thoughts online after seeing the sample photos. Some said the images work well for social media posts but may not meet professional needs.

Others liked the colors but said the phone may not beat similar models from rivals. Some expressed hope that the camera software might improve over time. Huawei has not yet shared details on testing under different lighting or with fast motion. Despite this, fans remain curious about both the front and rear cameras.
