Huawei to launch an “Amazing” Honor device on 10th August

Remember that odd looking Huawei Honor with pop up camera? Well looks like it will launch as early as the 10th of August.

We have seen some innovation camera designs from Chinese phone makers over the years. The models that spring to mind are the Oppo N1 and N3, Gionee Elife E7 Mini and the Huawei Honor 6+.

Huawei haven’t finished playing around with camera design and are on track to launch a new Huawei Honor model on the 10th August which sports an interesting pop up camera design.

As we pointed out in this post, the new Huawei Honor model will feature front and rear cameras and front and rear dual LED flashes. The rear camera will always be visible where as the front camera is only usable once a camera pod is launched.

It is also rumoured that the button for releasing the camera pod will also house a fingerprint scanner.
