Huawei launched a much-talked product with an innovative design. We are talking about the Huawei WATCH Buds. As the name implies, it combines a smartwatch and earphones.

Although this is a smartwatch, a TWS wireless earphone is hidden inside it. This is the first product in the world that comes our way with such a design.

As you guess, the biggest difficulty faced when making such a product is the size. But it seems that the Huawei WATCH Buds could solve this problem. We mean, it doesn’t look too bulky. The watch with built-in headphones still maintains the size of a mainstream watch, with a thickness of only 14.99mm.

On the top, there is a 1.43-inch circular screen. The edge adopts a 3D curved surface design. At the same time, the strap is made of first-layer calfskin.

The watch lid pops up like a pocket watch, allowing users to take out the earphones.

Although it is a two-in-one product, the functionality of Huawei WATCH Buds has not been reduced. It still runs the HarmonyOS 3 system and supports third-party app installation.

In terms of health tracking functions, it supports sleep monitoring, blood oxygen detection, heart rate detection, heart health research, etc.

The whole earphone adopts customized small components. Compared with the rod-type TWS earphone, the volume is reduced by 50%. The internal space utilization rate reaches 90%. The net weight of a single earphone is only about 4g.

Due to its compact size, Huawei optimized the patented smart dual-antenna design. According to different wearing methods, it will switch between various antennas to achieve good recognition performance.

In April this year, the firm released the Huawei WATCH GT 3 Pro series of smartwatches. They were available in two styles of titanium version and ceramic version. After eight months, the brand released the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro collection edition. It costs as high as 4988 yuan ($718).
