After partial
specifications of the
entry-level Huawei Honor 3C were exposed, further details about their
mid-range 8-core phone are
leaked including naming and price.
Huawei have adopted an Apple like naming system for their next Mediatek
phones.
News today tells us that quad-core
Huawei Honor 5C will be unveiled as an entry-level, Hongmi contender while an
mid-range Huawei Honor 5X will take on the Xiaomi Mi2S.
Previously
leaked as the
Huawei G570, the Honor 3X will sport a 1.7Ghz
8-core Mediatek
MT6592 chipset,
2GB RAM, 8GB memory,
5.5-inch 720p display, DTS sound, 5 mega-pixel front and 13 mega-pixel rear cameras, 3000mAh battery and a price tag of just 1699 Yuan ($203).
It will be interesting to see how customers take to the 8-core Mediatek phone, and it upsets sales of the Snapdragon 600 powered Mi2S or not. What do you think? Would you go for the Mi2S or 8-core Honor 5X?
