Most people are used to their phones dying before they even get home from work.
iQOO is finally trying to fix that. They just
showed off the first look at the
iQOO Z11 Turbo over on Weibo, and pre-orders are already starting in China. We don’t have a launch date yet, but the early details show this isn't just a tiny upgrade. It’s a huge change for their mid-range lineup.
Key Points:
- It uses the high-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip for top-tier speed.
- The battery life is officially better than any previous iQOO Z model.
- Includes a 200MP main camera for much sharper, high-res photos.
- Rated IP68 and IP69, so it survives water, dust, and pressure.
- Features a flat-frame design that is built for comfort and gaming.
A Massive Chip in a Cheaper Phone
The biggest surprise is the processor. This phone is actually going to use the
Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. Usually, you only see that kind of power in phones that cost over a thousand dollars. By putting it in the Z11 Turbo, iQOO is making a device for people who want speed without paying a fortune. The design is pretty clean, too—it has a flat frame that makes it easier to hold if you’re playing games or watching videos for hours.
Huge Battery and a Better Camera
While we don't have the exact battery size yet, the company’s product manager said it’s way better than the last one. Since the old model already had a giant battery, this new one might be the biggest we’ve seen in a normal-sized phone. You could probably go two or three days without needing a plug.
They also finally put a
200MP camera on it. This means your photos won’t look like a blurry mess when you try to zoom in. It’s a nice touch for a phone that usually focuses mostly on gaming.
Built to Take a Beating
A lot of times, these fast phones feel a bit cheap or fragile. But the Z11 Turbo has an IP68 and IP69 rating. That’s a fancy way of saying it can handle being dropped in a pool or even hit with a high-pressure hose. It’s built to actually last through the accidents of real life, which is a nice change of pace.
