Chuwi Lapbook 12.3 now supports Ubuntu, discounted to $299

New Chuwi Lapbook 12.3 is one of the most interesting budget laptops out there, mainly thanks to the gorgeous 2K screen with 2736x1824 pixel resolution with 3:2 aspect ratio. And today it got even more appealing, because according to Chuwi's press release the laptop now officially supports Ubuntu. It's not pre-installed as a dual-boot though, so the users need to get and install the system themselves.

Chuwi Lapbook 12.3 is powered by the Intel Apollo Lake N3450 paired with 6 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal eMMC storage, but luckily you can expand it with SSD thanks to easily accessible M.2 slot. And now you can also get it with a special discount on Gearbest, because with a coupon code CHUWI123 first 100 customers will get a special $299 price. And even if you are not among the lucky first ones you can still get the flash sale deal for $309.

Actually with the release of the Lapbook 12.3 some other Chuwi products got discounted too, for example the Chuwi Lapbook 15.6 with Intel X5-Z8350, 4 GB RAM and 64 GB ROM is down to just $169, or the Chuwi Hi10 Plus tablet with the same processor, FullHD 10.8" screen and dual boot Android 5.1/Windows 10 for just $164.
