Meizu MX5 price cut to 1399 Yuan in China

For last minute shoppers Chinese New Year shoppers in China, Meizu have cut the price of the MX5 once again.

Those of you in China and looking for a decent flagship phone on the cheap might want to head over to the China Unicom stores and pick of the newly reduced Meizu MX5 smartphone.

Originally priced at 1699 Yuan at launch, and already reduced once in China already, the new pricing for the MX5 brings the cost of the 16GB model down to only 1399 Yuan ($212). This is only fractionally more than the Meizu Metal and brings pricing in line with the Xiaomi Mi4c.
