Recently, a landing page for the Meizu 16s on Jingdong Mall suggests that this smartphone will be released on April 23rd. This afternoon, the company officially announce that it will hold a new product launch conference in Zhuhai on April 23, where it will officially release the Meizu 16s. The invitation partly reads "1% Selected/100% Efforts". The company has devoted its full efforts for this smartphone.
This upcoming smartphone uses a 6.2-inch display with a resolution of 2232×1080. Huang Zhang, founder of Meizu Technology stressed that Meizu 16s comes without a notch and it is still the perfect full-screen solution for smartphones. It also has a high-value design as its pure white colour makes it appear simple and elegant.
Looking at the core configuration, this smartphone is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC. This is Meizu's first Snapdragon 855 mobile phone, and is by far the most powerful Meizu mobile phone. At the same time, it is equipped with 8GB of RAM and 1128GB of internal storage. The lights are kept on b a 3600 mAh battery and it runs on Android 9 Pie system.
In addition, Meizu 16s is equipped with a 48MP + 20MP dual rear camera of which the 48MP main lens is a Sony IMX586 sensor which supports OIS. It is worth noting that Huang Zhang also stated that the company will raise its price as it can not afford to lose. The Meizu 16th has a 2998 yuan ($447) starting price thus we expect the Meizu 16s to be a bit more.
