Makers of the Yi Camera have made a drone, and it looks awesome

The Yi camera is an immensely popular GoPro alternative. It's been that way almost since the day it was launched in 2015; Yi followed it up with the Yi 4K earlier this year.

Now, the Chinese tech company have come up with yet another product that looks as compelling - the Yi Erida drone.

The Yi Erida is essentially a tri-copter designed in 100% carbon fiber casing. According to Yi Technology, the tricopter can do speeds of up to 75 km/h, which isn't bad for a drone meant for filming.

A 4K camera (yes, the Yi 4K) will come as part of the drone package, which I think is a neat (and a very smart) addition.

What's more, they're also claiming a flight time of over 40 minutes... which could be a game changer. We should know more about this drone when the InterDrone conference kicks off in September.
