Newman Sell 100 Newman K1 quad-core phones at $16 each!

While the rest of the world thinks of ways to prank one another on April 1st, Chinese phone brands are celebrating by launching new models and offer amazing deals like Newman who are selling 100 all new quad-core Newman K1 phones for just $16 each!

Newman have come wading in to the Chinese phone market and made some huge splashes over the past 12 months. Each of the flagship phones have been stunners (the Newman N1 and N2) and now their latest quad-core model has gone on sale at a super low price!

There will only be 100 commemorative versions of the Newman K1 available at the special 98 Yuan ($16) price tag, and these models will also feature a slightly different configuration from the official retail version which will go on sale later in the month. The commemorative Newman K1 features a 8 mega-pixel rear camera, 1GB RAM and 4GB of ROM while the full retail model gets 2GB RAM, 32GB ROM and a 13 mega-pixel rear camera.

Both Newman K1 models boast the same quad-core MT6589 processor, 5-inch 720p display and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS.
