Bargain priced
Chinese phones with exceptional specifications are arriving by the boat load, the newest is from
Chinese brand
Nuu and
features a 1.7Ghz processor, large
screen and
NFC for $300.
Nuu are another newcomer to the
Chinese phone scene, but they are entering with a bang and the Nu1.
The 4.8-inch phone packs some very attractive features in a curvaceous body, and at the price is sure to be one to keep an eye on.
The large 1280 x 720
display comes from Casio and
features 306ppi which is the same as Samsung's Galaxy S3
phone. Not only is the
display large enough for comfortable web browsing and gaming, but it has also received an anti-glare coating to improve use in direct sunlight.
An 8 mega-pixel camera takes up the rear, and enclosed behind the glossy casing is an NFC chip which supports file sharing via Nuu's Nuu Beam feature.
Nuu Share is another method of sharing media and uses DLNA to connect to smart
TV's for photo and video viewing. For those of you without a smart TV, their will be a
Nuu dongle available to connect to HDMI equipped screens.
As for performance,
Nuu have equipped the Nu1 with a dual-core
Qualcomm processor running at 1.7Ghz with 1GB RAM and an Adreno 220 GPU, meaning we should see similar speed and responsiveness as found on the Xiaomi M1.
The Nu1 is up for pre-order now and will be available in either black or white for 1890 Yuan ($303).
