It’s amazing to think that just last week was the
launch of the
8-core MT6592 chipset, yet already
Chinese phones based on the
tech are already hitting
stores!
Over the past few days we have seen the
launch of the Zopo ZP998 and GreenOrange NX. Now OEM phone company OrientDeal are here with their Galaxy
Note 3 inspired
8-core OrientPhone N8.
We have seen a few
Note 3 based phablets from China over the past few months with similar specs (
5.7-inch 1080 display,
2GB RAM,
32GB memory etc) but this is the first to arrive with Mediatek’s flagship
8-core MT6592.
According to the screenshots provided by OrientPhone, the N8 scores 26085 points on Antutu which is slightly less than we have seen from other
octa-core models, but still more than enough to assure smooth operation and good gaming performance.
Features of the OrientPhone N8 include a Gorilla Glass OGS display, 13 mega-pixel rear camera, 5 mega-pixel front, Andorid 4.2, 3200mAh battery and a body size of 155 x 79.5 x 7.9mm.
