Quad-core THL W7 rumoured to launch March 15th

Unconfirmed reports claim that THL will launch the quad-core THL W7 phone on March 15th, in time for "International Consumer Rights Day".

Most media reports have been talking about the THL W8, which will be THL's flagship quad-core phone for the first half of this year, but it won't be the only THL rocking the MT6589 chip. Rumors suggest that the quad-core version of the W7 could go on sale later this week priced at 1699 Yuan ($273).

It's likely that the quad-core W7 will feature a similar appearance to the dual-core version of the phone with a 5.7-inch display. Reports also suggest that a PowerVR SGX544Mp will be used in the updated phone.
