TCL will launch 4G LTE Mediatek phone tomorrow

LTE Mediatek phones have been leaked and teased, but the first to launch is from TCL and it won’t be a flagship device.

According to media reports the first LTE equipped Mediatek phone to go on sale from TCL is a budget phone costing around 800 Yuan. The model, believed to be the TCL A380T, will use an octacore chipset but other than these details the rest is a mystery.

TCL have an ambitious target to launch 6 LTE phones all powered by Mediatek processors in the next few months. The devices will all be aimed at the low to mid range market, and considering their links with Alcatel we could see a few launch in Europe and the US also.
