The Redmi MAX TV 100" Is The Largest TV Of The Brand

At the Redmi K50 series conference, the company also uncovered the Redmi MAX TV 100”. This Godzilla-size TV costs 19,999 yuan ($3149). This is also the largest TV of the Xiaomi family to date. The previous record belongs to the Redmi MAX TV 98”.

The Redmi MAX TV 100” is not a simple large TV. It comes with an upgraded design process, a metal balance base, and an astonishing 98.8% screen ratio. So it can bring a shadow-like immersive viewing experience.

The Redmi MAX TV 100" is equipped with a 100-inch 3840×2160 screen. The latter also has a refresh rate of 120Hz, supports VRR 48-120Hz, a viewing angle of 178°, and a wide color gamut of DCI-P3 94%. Apart from DeltaE≈2, it supports HDR10+, IMAX Enhanced, and Dolby Vision Atmos. Thus, its screen parameters reached the flagship level.

Under the hood, the Redmi MAX TV 100" hosts a Cortex A73 quad-core CPU, G52 MC1 GPU, 4GB memory, and 64GB storage space. It supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, infrared, etc.

As for interfaces, the Redmi MAX TV 100” has 3 HDMI ports (including one 4K 120Hz, including one eARC), 1 AV interface, 2 USB interfaces, 1 ATV / DTMB interface, 1 Ethernet interface, and 1 S/PDIF interface.

Also, the Redmi MAX TV 100” comes with a built-in Mi-Player, which supports FLV, MOV, AVI, MKV, TS, MP4, etc. In terms of video decoding, it supports DOLBY VISION, HDR 10+, MPEG1/2/4, H.264, H.265, etc. Whereas for the audio decoding, the TV supports DOLBY AUDIO, DOLBY ATMOS, DTS-HD*, and other audio decoding methods.

We are dealing with a top-end TV. So it’s logical to see great audio performance as well. The Redmi MAX TV 100” boasts built-in left and right channels (4 sound units), and the speaker input power is 2×15W.

It’s ideal for gaming. The HDMI 2.1 new generation game console transmission interface ensures lower input delay as well as more sensitive control. As you can see, everything on this TV is outstanding. But the price is much lower than other competing products on the market.
