Alongside the Galaxy S26, 26+, and the king Galaxy S26 Ultra, Samsung also introduced its next-generation wireless earbuds, the Galaxy Buds4 series. The new earbuds come with a clear focus on sound quality, comfort, and daily usability. According to the company’s research, 58% of users wear earbuds every day, and most rely on a single pair for everything from music to calls and commuting. In this regard, the new generation brings some interesting enhancements.

Samsung Galaxy Buds4 and Samsung Galaxy Buds4 Pro Arrive With a Refined Design and Better Audio

Samsung has redesigned the case so the earbuds now lie flat inside, making them easier to store and retrieve. The transparent lid remains, showcasing the updated look.
The stems have also been reworked. The previous triangular blades are replaced with flat brushed metal stems that feel more premium and modern. Samsung engraved the touch-sensitive area so it is easier to find by touch. The stems support pinch and swipe gestures for media, volume, and ANC controls.

Bigger drivers and Hi-Fi Sound on the Pro model

The sound quality was the top priority this year. The Galaxy Buds4 Pro feature a new 2-way speaker system with a wider woofer and tweeter. Samsung states that the drivers are nearly 20% larger than those on the previous Pro model, aiming for stronger bass and clearer highs. The Galaxy Buds4 Pro version also supports up to 24-bit 96kHz Hi-Fi audio playback when paired with compatible devices.

Open-fit Comfort and Adaptive Features

The standard Galaxy Buds4 use an open design that should feel more comfortable during long listening sessions. This approach usually offers less isolation than in-ear designs, especially for active noise cancellation.

Both models include Enhanced Adaptive ANC, which intelligently reduces constant background noise like engines while allowing important sounds such as sirens to remain audible. Super Clear Call is also included, delivering 16kHz call audio with strong noise reduction for clearer voice pickup.

Smarter Controls and Galaxy Integration

The earbuds support hands-free gestures, including nodding to accept calls or shaking your head to reject them. Users can also summon Bixby with voice commands to control smart home devices.
They work with any smartphone, but Galaxy users get deeper integration. The buds can connect instantly through the Quick Panel, offering quick access to volume, ANC, and ambient sound controls without opening a separate app. The Interpreter feature also enables real-time translation across multiple languages.
