Mystery press photos from Asus have been cropping up over the internet for the past few days. Could this new tablet be a mini Transformer Prime?Amazon's Kindle Fire has really sent shockwaves through the Android Tablet market, with many companies now scrambling to produce a 7-inch tablet which will compete with similar specificaton and price.
The latest manufacturer to at least hint at launching a low cost Android tablet is Asus, the makers of the very lovely and exceptionaly powerful Asus Transformer Prime.
Asus has been sending out press packs to companies over the past few days full of news about their CES offerings, but one piece of news is the appearance of a mystery 7-inch Asus tablet.
Not much is known about the tablet, other than it features a rear camera (with no flash), appears to have a 7-inch screen and also dual stereo speakers.
However, many have speculated that this little Asus mystery could be a mini Asus Transformer Prime, which could get it's own mini keyboard dock and could cost as little as $299!
We will just have to see what Asus has up their sleeves at CES next week!
