China Readying Online Television

is building a national for broadcasts. The platform known as Network Television (CNTV) will be split in to two different services. The will cater to all audiences throughout where as the second will provide specific programming based on region. Once up and running the platform will have capacity for 100 channels of standard definition streaming, 15 channels for HD plus room for 20,000 hours of video on programming. The has already teamed up with local broadcasters from Sichuan, Hubei, Beijing, Shenzhen and Shandong.
