Forget Fake Apple Stores, China Now Has Fake Divorces!

Married couples are paying up to 20,000 Yuan ($3100) for divorce papers so they can second and third homes.The market has been booming in recent years, and the government has imposed many strict measures to try and restrict the number of homes people can own.

However, determined Chinese home buyers and property developers are finding more imaginative ways and discovering legal loopholes which will allow them to skirt these measures and buy more homes than they are legally allowed to.

One couple, paid 20,000 yuan for a fake divorce certificate so they could get a third mortgage on a 12 million Yuan ($1.9 million) suburban villa!
