Chinese media player and cell
phone maker,
Oppo, launched their first ever
smartphone earlier this week, and the
4 inch screened
Android phone is a stunner!
Oppo really seem to appreciate who they are going up against when entering the highly crowded
smartphone market, because their first offering, the
X903 is as
stunning to look at as the specification does on paper!
The X903 is made of a stylish CNC smoke alloy which is shaped it a comfortable sliding design, which weighs in at 199 grams.
The 4 inch Hitachi sourced IPS screen with 10 point multi-touch slides smoothly and precisely up to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard.
Under the beautiful exterior there is some impressive hardware such as a 1Ghz CPU, 3D graphics accelerator, 8 mega-pixel
camera with 720p HD video recording, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, plus a wonderful looking custom skinned
Android 2.2 operating system.
The
OS on the Oppo is a kind of Apple
iOS and
Meizu M9 mash up, and it will be interesting to see if Oppo manage to get away without some legal pursuit from either company.
