Vivo is already preparing its new round of flagships under the Vivo X300 series. The device does not have a launch date yet, but the company is sharing some tidbits about the lineup. As usual in the Vivo X series, the greatest highlights are in the camera department. To build the hype for the launch, Vivo shared some details about the Vivo X300 Pro camera specs. For instance, the device will get a new main camera from Sony and another new sensor from Samsung for its telephoto shooter.

Vivo X300 Pro Coming With Upgraded Cameras and Technology

According to the rumors, Vivo is expected to launch the new Vivo X300 series of flagships sometime in September. The company will follow MediaTek's Dimensity 9500 SoC reveal. The devices under the lineup are expected to pack the upcoming flagship SoC from the Taiwanese chipmaker, just like its predecessors. While performance will be granted, the focus will be on the camera department.
The Vivo X200 Pro was one of the best camera smartphones in the past and current years. Vivo's collaboration with ZEISS has greatly enhanced the capabilities of its smartphones, and the high quality will continue for the next flagships, slightly better thanks to the new sensors.

Judging by some images from NotebookCheck, the Vivo X300 Pro will feature the Sony LYT828 sensor. It has a 50 MP resolution and a 1.28-inch sensor size. This is the successor to the LYT818 seen in the Vivo X200 Pro model. The new LYT828 also has 1.22 μm wide pixels and will be paired with the brand's VS1 and V3+ imaging chip. These upgrades will certainly result in better image quality for the upcoming flagship.
The periscope camera is also getting an upgrade with a new Samsung sensor. The exact details are still unclear, but the report suggests the use of Samsung's new 200 MP camera as the telephoto camera for better zoomed shots.
Vivo X300 Pro
The specs are slowly popping out for the Vivo X300 Pro. Besides the new cameras, the device will also come with a huge battery. It will sport a 6,500 mAh battery as per a listing in China's CMIIT. This capacity on a flagship likely suggests the use of Si-C technology. Considering what Vivo is exploring in the mid-range segment, this capacity seems very likely.
