And while we expect it to be (hopefully) unveiled today, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 phablet appeared yesterday on Geekbench for its regular bench marking procedure, revealing (once again) most of its hardware.

According to its official listing, the upcoming model will be equipped with an octa-core Qualcomm chip clocked at 2.02 GHz, along with 4GB of RAM for hassle free multi-tasking. Rumor has it that the device will be available in two variants: one equipped with a Snapdragon 626 SoC (just as the one in the listing) and another (more powerful) with a Snapdragon 660 SoC.
The listing also confirmed that the Mi Max 2 will boast a 6.4-inch 1080p display and it will be available in 64GB and 128GB versions, along with a 12MP main camera, a 5MP selfie camera and Android 7.1.1 Nougat with MIUI 8 on top.
Rumor has it that the device will be officially unveiled today, Thursday so we'll just have to wait a few more hours to find out what happens.
