Xiaomi releases WeLoop Hey S3, Their Very Own Apple Watch Clone

A few days ago we had a teaser from Xiaomi for a new smart wearable, well the device has today been launched and it is a fully functioning Apple Watch clone.

Named the Hey S3, this wearable is the most advanced from Xiaomi to date featuring a 1.28inch display , built-in GPS + Glonass and weighing in at only 38g.

As you would expect from a modern smartwatch, the Hey S3 is able to keep track on your daily routine, monitor your distance travelled, analyse your training and even monitor your heart rate.

One of the big issues with smartwatches is there battery life, a point that Xiaomi is keen to point out on the Hey S3 which has a claimed battery life of 30 days. This isn’t a best case scenario either, this is using the watch all day every day for a month. When the watch does need charging you can use the magnetic dock that comes with it.

Other features for the wearable include Bluetooth 4.2 to connect to your phone and receive notification, answer calls and control music, and the watch is waterproof to 50 meters.

Pricing for the Hey S3 is only 539 Yuan which is around $78 and was developed by WeLoop (YF Technology Corp., Ltd.).
