It was learnt a couple of days back that
Xiaomi would
launch the Redmi Note 3 in India next week.
Invites have now been sent to the media for the event. While the invites don't tell much apart from the obvious, they do however reveal the significance of the date when the launch is supposed to take place.
The launch -- of the Redmi Note 3 (Pro), if you haven't been able to spot the elephant in the room yet -- will happen in New Delhi on the 3rd of March, which Xiaomi stylise as 03.03.
Known as the Redmi Note 3 Pro otherwise, the variant to be launched in India will not feature the MediaTek Helio X10 that you see on the initial Chinese variants of the phone. Instead, it'll come with the hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 SoC.
There's no word on how much it'll cost in India. In China, the Snapdragon 650-powered Redmi Note 3 is 100 Yuan dearer.
