Surprisingly enough, given Xiaomi's long presence in the mobile industry and their market filling strategy with handsets launching almost every week, the Chinese tech giant's first ever wireless charging supported phone was actually the fairly recent Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S.
When Xiaomi launched the Mi MIX 2S back in April, the stunning tri-bezel-less smartphone was accompanied by a wireless charger which could be used to charge the phone using the Qi standard.
Xiaomi's wireless charger didn't - and still doesn't - do too well compared to other devices though, with a maximum charging power of 7.5W, when the standard has become 10W, with peaks of 15W, such as the ones for the Samsung Galaxy S9 lineup.

That's probably why today we hear of a new Xiaomi wireless charger soon hitting the shelves. The device, that was just seen on the WPC wireless charging alliance official website will, most likely work at 10W for a minimum. But, that aside, it will not look much different from the predecessor, with a really minimal design and a small LED at the front to indicate the status.
Xiaomi's wireless charger is rumored to launch along with the upcoming Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 flagship later this year, which would make sense as the new phone will probably support a faster wireless charging tech as well.
