Xiaomi basically kick-started the new wave of flagships with the new CPU. It launched the
Xiaomi 17 Pro shortly after Qualcomm's announcement. Now, many brands are set to follow suit, and
Honor is among them with the
Honor Magic8 series. The new flagships will come soon and are expected to boast the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. Today, Honor's Li Kun
shared the Magic8 and its impressive score on AnTuTu Benchmarks.

The executive
shared a screenshot that shows a total score of 4,166,339 achieved by the Honor Magic8 in AnTuTu V11. The CPU score is 1,213,845. The GPU score is 1,468,351. The memory score is 570,553, and the UX score is 913,590. Li Kun took this score and compared it with the
recently unveiled Xiaomi 17 Pro. Xiaomi's flagship managed a total score of 3,749,435. This has been split in 1,053,385 for the CPU, 1,332,311 for the GPU, 529,807 for memory, and 833,932 for the UX.

The Honor Magic8 appeared in live images recently. The device will come with deep AI integration, featuring the next sext of interesting AI features developed by Honor. Among them, we expect agentic AI features to cover approximately 3,000 scenarios across 100 widely used apps. The Magic8 Pro will feature a 200 MP periscope telephoto camera, equipped with an 85mm equivalent lens and an f/2.6 aperture.
We expect more details to emerge soon. Honor will continue its teaser campaign, revealing some tidbits of the new flagships. We expect them to also come with excellent batteries, since the brand has been a pioneer in the silicon-carbon battery tech.
