iPad 3 Event Just Weeks Away!

Popular Japanese publication Macotakara are reporting that an offiicial iPad 3 launch event is closer than we might all expect.

The blog, famous for finding details concerning the iPad 2 before its release is now reporting that the iPad 3 event will be held sometime during Feburary, which does in fact match our reports that the next generation iPad will be ready for launch for March.

iPad 3 rumors have suggested that the next generation iPad will be available in 2 new models and will sell alongside the current iPad 2, which itself will receive a price cut.

The new iPad 3 could be available as a mid-range guise with faster quad-core Apple A6 CPU and updated cameras, and also a higher range iPad 3 which will gain a retina display.

Rumors also suggest the iPad 3 will be slightly thicker than the iPad 2, and could get a much larger 14,000 mAh battery!
