K-Touch Kiss possibly the best looking $160 phone from China!

The K-Touch Kiss gets our vote as one of the most attractive quad-core Android phones currently available in China!

Launching a sub 1000 Yuan ($160) smartphone in China is a daunting task! There are so many amazing phones already available that anything wanting a chance to do well has to bring something new to the table.

Rather than a ridiculously high, and possibly problematic, specification K-touch have opted to adorn the new Kiss smartphone with a very stylish design. Bright colours, rounded edges and attractive tapers all add up to one phone that will easily stand out in a see candy bar phones and Samsung-esque design.

The rounded styling of the Kiss also helps the phone loose a few pounds visually too. Looking at the phone side on you wouldn’t think is measure as much as 9.8mm! The overall dimensions, 130.2 x 70.3 x 9.8mm are kept to a minimum thanks to the 4.7-inch QHD OGS display. Under the panels a quad-core MT6589 processor 1GB RAM and 4GB of built-in memory will offer most users enough horse power, while the 2 mega-pixel front and 8 mega-pixel rear cameras will do a great job of spur of the moment photos.

The K-Touch Kiss will go on sale soon and will be available in a range of colours for just 999 Yuan ($160)

if they would have chosen a 720 screen instead of qhd it would have been a interesting phone but since my current phone (htc sensation) also has a qhd display its not realy much of an upgrade anymore

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. The screen res is just a bit too low, or the size is just a bit too high maybe. For a 4.3 inch screen it would have been OK.
Even so I think it’s reasonable give that there were 4.3 inch phone with 800×480 and no one died 🙂

For a hundred or so kuai more they could have opted for a better screen and more RAM and memory. Theh they’ll have a winner.

Overall, I am rather impressed with the specs on the K-Touch line of phones. Sure, this one may not be “high end” enough to some, but when you consider what is provided FOR THE PRICE, not bad at all.

My question is how does someone in the US buy this phone? I don’t see many K-touch models offered at my usual haunts (i.e., ebay, antelife, geek buying, etc.). Could someone please post where I can find dependable resellers for these phones? Thanks!

I’ve found quite a few phones on Aliexpress. Check to see if they ship to your country. Just make sure you choose a vendor with excellent reputation and of course use the escrow service.
