Onda V819 7.9-inch Android mini tablet with 3G announced


Onda arrives on the Android mini tablet scene with the low-cost Onda V819 3G device priced at just $150.

Thanks to the popularity in 7.9-inch mini tablets, the Chinese tablet industry is beginning to thrive once again, and thanks to current component price cuts we are seeing better value device than were previously available.

The new Onda V819 takes advantage of lower costs and uses a lot of technology which was thought of as cutting edge just at the start of this year! The 7.9-inch display has the same 1024 x 768 resolution as the original iPad mini, the processor is a 1.2Ghz quad-core Soc which 3G, Wifi and GPS all built-in, a 5200mAh battery should last you through the day plus there is 1GB RAM, 16GB memory and room for an SD card!

Pricing for the Onda V819 in China is 899 Yuan, international prices are expected to be around $180.

    Why up to now not one company has come up with a tablet with 2GB RAM, 32GB ROM, 1280 X 700 display, micro SD slot, GPS, wifi, and 3G? Oh and affordable of course and none of the previous lame Mediatek quad cores!
