Octacore GooPhone S9, an original GooPhone?

GooPhone have launched their second octacore Android smartphone, but rather than a clone the GooPhone S9 boasts a more unique design.

GooPhone are generally known as a clone maker, producing nothing but knock off phones running Android OS. The new octacore GooPhone S9 is a bit of a surpirse though as it looks nothing like a phone already on the market. Could this be a first for GooPhone? A design of their own?

Specifications are nothing to be sniffed at either. The display is a FHD 1920 x 1080 5-inch OGS model, the processor is the latest 1.7Ghz octacore MT6592 chipset from Mediatek, there is 2GB RAM, 32GB internal memory, SD card memory expansion, front 5 megapixel camera, 13 mega-pixel rear, dual SIM, NFC, OTG and an overall size of 142x 72 x 7mm. However that narrow size means that only a 2000mAh battery sit’s inside the GooPhone S9.

First impressions from those who have tried the GooPhone S9 are good, and performance is on par with similar octacore phones with Antutu scores of just below 27,000 points. Pricing of the GooPhone S9 is good to at just $270!
