Vivo X3S W officially listed

Vivo’s uber thin octacore Vivo X3S has shown up on the company’s official website with WCDMA support!

Vivo are one of the many Chinese phone makers who gives preferential treatment to China Mobile and their TD-SCDMa 3G technology. What this means for users on China Unicom (like myself) of for readers outside of China, is a long wait is needed for the WCDMA enabled version to go on sale. Well the wait was much shorter this time around and the WCDMA Vivo X3S is now on the official website, and has been listed on online stores in China for around 2500 Yuan.

Gizchina News of the week

The Vivo X3S, not to be confused with the flagship Xplay 3S, has a 5.95mm thin body, 5-inch 720p display, 13 mega-pixel main camera, and 1.7Ghz octacore Mediatek processor. The WCDMA model supports GSM850, GSM900, DCS1800, PCS1900 and WCDMA 900, WCDMA 2100MHz.

If the Vivo X3S is a little out of your price range then there are a number of phones with similar designs such as the Jiake X3, and the new Zopo Zp1000.

I know, just not who was doing the Dev work on the rather buggy xplay 3s I had a go with.
BTW, the Z2 is very quick in Antutu when I ran it at MWC, don’t seem to have a photo. Sure it was like 37k or so – reading your other good comments πŸ™‚

    Hi Andi,

You make the comment “is now on the official website”. What is the official website? It would be great if your articles could include links rather than just having descriptive phrases. Having a link gives your articles much greater credibility.

    Thanks

Hmmm, I guess you don’t see the link at the end of the article which says [ Vivo ] and takes you directly to the official Vivo X3S pages……

:)) Guess I didn’t. Thanks. I am probably more used to seeing the links in the text rather than at the end of the article.

MT6582 version with a sub 200USD pricetag would have been awesome

Yep the page has but only the TD-SCDMA model had been available. It’s a good looking phone. Enjoy it πŸ™‚
