ZTE Geek II Pro gets the Antutu leak treatment

ZTE have managed to really surprise us with previous ZTE Geek models which have included an Intel powered phone and a Tegra 4 device! The next Geek however is looking a little more pedestrian.

A purported Antutu benchmarks shows some of the technical specifications of the next installment in the ZTE Geek line up. From the screenshot the ZTE Geek II Pro is looking less ‘Pro’ and more ‘the norm’.

Rather than choosing fancy processor as they had in the past, the Geek II Pro will receive the 1.7Ghz octacore Mediatek MT6592 chipset with a Mali-450 GPU. There is nothing wrong with the MT6592 only that is means the Geek will be limited to Android 4.2.2 rather than 4.4.

Gizchina News of the week

Screen resolution has increased to 1920 x 1080 on the Geek II Pro, there is 2GB RAM, 8 GB memory, 5 mega-pixel front camera and an 8 mega-pixel rear. The phone has clocked at 28,024 on Antutu which is right on the month for a phone of this calibre. Pricing should follow previous ZTE Geek models and be much lower than similar phones from big name rivals.
