Tudou launch 15.6-inch tablet in China

Tudou, another online video streaming provide, have released their very own large screen tablet at a bargain price in China.

Tudou are one of the original video streaming services in China, and is actually owned now by the much famous and internationally known Youku. The companies still operated independent websites, and are both expanding in to the hardware side of things.

For Tudou their first move from video to hardware is this 15.6-inch tablet that will cost Tudou club members just 799 Yuan, while non members will have to pay the full price of 999 Yuan or 1279 Yuan with a video streaming subscription.

The device is made primarily for the streaming and consumption of online video and social media, so specs aren’t super high with a Rockchip RK3188 processor, 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal memory. There is also WIFI and OTG so you can plug in a keyboard or mouse.

This 15.6-inch tablet runs a highly customised version of Android and has a screen resolution of 1366 x 768, and is actually manufactured by Philips so quality and support should be pretty good.

Anyone in China can pre-order the 15.6-inch Tudou tablet through Suning stores.
