Press images of the Bluboo X550 have been doing the rounds showing the phone with impressive narrow bezel design, large battery and Mediatek’s Pump Express Plus.
Having not seen the Bluboo X550 in the flesh just yet, we don’t know how much creative license the designer who made this press artwork is using as the bezels on the X550 look impressive to say the least.
If we take the press images as gospel then the big battery Bluboo will have narrow bezels either side of the display and very little left over body above and below the panel.
Standout features of the Bluboo X550 are it’s 5300mAh battery from battery specialists Amprius which is good for 4 days of “normal use” and 30 days standby. Even with that huge battery on tap charging times are amazing thanks to the implementation of Pump Express Plus. Using the hilariously named technology, Bluboo claim 50% charge in only 40min and 75% in just an hour.

Performance should be ok too with a quad-core, 64bit MT6735 chipset, and 2GB RAM plus Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. There is 16GB internal memory and space for a 64GB SD card for storing movies, music and more, plus dual SIM LTE will allow fast data connection where 4G is available.
Up front is a 5.5-inch HD display with 400nets brightness and a 2 mega-pixel front camera, while the rear F2.0 sensor is an 8 mega-pixel offering.

claiming 4 days normal use is a big deal. So much for only 150 bucks seems too good to be true ! But then again, mediatek processors are great and very cheap, so yeah, Google, think mediatek for your next Fucking nexus !
Thats a device which I really appreciate, from the design to the specs, being a battery monster plus fast charging, I really like to get one if I can.

Is it that hard to make this phone with a slimmer profile, FHD, MT6752, 16Mpx camera, a 3500mAh battery, and a synthetic leather back cover?
The price is junk for a phone with 2Mp front and 8Mp cameras…
Renders look good but unfortunately dimensions seem to suggest otherwise. Shame as I was really liking the looks.
Nice price but unfortunately specs are not very impressive. Weak camera, screen and CPU compared to some other options there.
Its going to be larger to fit the larger battery. Its got almost twice the mah in the battery, meaning even heavy users will get at least two days out of it, and you never have to worry about turning off your gps/wireless internet/gestures or anything else.
It doesnt have my 3g bands otherwise I’d be all over it.

The listed dimensions at 148*78*9.5mm indicate not so thin side bezels but the height is pretty good. It got a full 10mm on the bulkiest 5.5 incher out there, the iphone 6 plus 158.1 x 77.8 (yay for roadkill design) and just slightly taller than the LG G3 146.3 x 74.6 mm. LeTV S1 and S1 Pro are 147.8 x 74.2 x 9.5mm and 148.4 x 73.8 x 9.4mm.
the front camera and 5,5″ HD only is killing it. But on other side, for the price…
Many people (including me) prefer 720p on 5.5′ screen.
Compact, huge battery battery, low price… i already bought it : -)

I love that it’s only HD and I like the looks of it. The only thing I can’t live with it the back Button on the left side. I just prefer it on the right. Probably can’t change that though…. otherwise for me the perfect phone.
