Meizu MX5 Pro allegedly leaks in real images

Much like Xiaomi, China’s Meizu is expected to launch a very powerful phone in the coming days. While it is the Mi 5 for Xiaomi (which just got leaked), it is the MX5 Pro for Meizu.

The Meizu MX5 itself has been around for a few months. Meizu however started a trend of sorts by launching the MX4 Pro right after the MX4, and that is what is expected of them this time round too.

If a Chinese source is to be believed, the MX5 Pro will look a lot like the current gen MX5 (review). The source leaked a couple of pictures of the phone as well, which you can check out right below.

Gizchina News of the week

Going by the trend, the MX5 Pro should have a Quad HD display of perhaps the same size as the MX5. Besides that, there is the powerful Exynos 7420 SoC expected to be sitting inside the core of the MX5 Pro; the news about the phone having the SoC leaked only recently.

Between the Mi 5 and the MX5 Pro, which phone do you think will manage to sway the market towards itself?

Both MX5 and MX5 Pro are great phones and very powerful. But, I think, at the end the price point is going to be the factor that decides what phone are consumers going to buy.

The design has got a little stale and boring to be honest. How many more phones do they need to release this year? It would be really nice if they could work on their software my M2 note does a random reboot at least 3 times a day with a couple of freezing and lag thrown in for good measure.

Meizu has became a very boring company, just making phones to sell, no effort is made since 2 years on design. They need to respect there costumers if they want to keep them

Solid phone with late software bug&fix update. As a MX4 pro user, no, thanks!
