Up and coming action camera maker, and Chinese Go Pro rival SJCAM have added a new model to their range. The SJCAM M10 has higher resolution video support and gyro stabilisation.

Just taking a quick glimpse at the SJCAM M10 Plus you could be forgiven for thinking that it’s the new Go Pro Session camera. The new compact camera has an all new design, built-in gyro for stabilising video and 2K video support.

The M10 Plus can record video at up to 2560 x 1440 @60fps, of if you wanting something that weighs a little less in the video editor 1920 x 1080 video can also be captured. WIFI means you can control the camera via an Android or iOS application and sharing from your camera to social networks and YouTube is as simple as choosing an option.

Using a smartphone with the camera means you can also view what the camera is seeing live too, but there is also a built-in 1.5-inch LCD display on the rear should you need it too.

As well as video, the SJCAM M10 Plus can also take still photos of up to 12 mega-pixels. Images and video is saved via SD cards up to 32GB and you even have the option to watch video directly from the camera to you TV via AV out.

With those ports and plugs the M10 Plus isn’t fully waterproof on its own so a sealed case is also provided with the camera as well as a ton of other accessories and mounts.
