Meizu M9 Gingerbread Update Released

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Meizu are really spoiling us with all these updates and bug fixes, but this latest beta firmware ‘leaked’ by Meizu CEO Jack Wong is an exceptionally delicious treat!

Gizchina News of the week

The new firmware isn’t just a run of the mill bug fix but an actual upgrade from Android 2.2 Froyo to Android 2.3 Gingerbread!

I’m currently downloading the update.bin to give some Gingerbread love to my M9 and will post my findings later, but going off what others are saying about the update, better Google contacts integration, the M9 runs faster and cooler and now Skype works, this latest update looks like a good one!

I’ll post full details later with screen shots.
