Xiaomi M2 now coming in 16 and 32GB Variants!


The October launch of the 1999 Yuan Quad-core Xiaomi M2 Android phone is during nearer and as such fans are getting excited, but CEO Lei Jun has another surprise in store for Xiaomi fans as his company have decided to launch 2 versions of the much-anticipated Jelly Bean phone!

At the Xiaomi M2 launch last month fans were left both amazed and a little disappointed with the Xiaomi M2.

They were amazed by the fantastic quad-core Qualcomm S2 CPU, 2GB RAM, amazing screen, simply awesome 8 mega-pixel rear camera and blown away by the new Android Jelly Bean based MIUI 4.1, but they were less than impressed by the M2’s limited 16GB of on board storage.

True to form though Xiaomi have listened to their fans via their active forums and Weibo micro-blog account and have decided to make a last-minute addition to the Xiaomi M2 line up!

CEO Lei Jun has announced that at the October launch of the Xiaomi M2 there will actually be 2 models for fans to choose from, the original 16GB version which has already been shown off and a new 32GB model!

While we know the 16GB M2 is meant to launch at 1999 Yuan ($313) we have no indication at how much the 32GB model will cost, but we imagine it will be around the 2300 Yuan mark which will place the M2 in direct competition with the forth-coming Opp0 Find 5!

    great phones…great prices but its availability is a big issue…i mean it obviously is for people living outside china(example me living in india)…but also for people living in china i think…

    @Milind Yes aliexpress.com is reliable because when You buy and pay for phone Your supplier dont get cash before u dont get a package with phone. Later u need click when u get phone and supplier will get cash πŸ™‚ simple πŸ™‚ and reliable. Regards

    I think Xiaomi makes a great product and they seem very in touch with their domestic market, hopefully success opens up availability for their phones outside of China.
